My personal opinion/rant about a new word I learned today. (This may lead on to more ranting lol)
So, I saw a word today that I didn't know, whats the first thing I do? I Googled it. My first reaction? A BIG FACE PALM. Whats the word I learned? "THOT".
I truly... truly...fear for the next generation of kids. I can handle a lot of different "slang" for words.. but for some reason this one made me realize that I feel that literature and English is going downhill.. By a lot.
I'm so glad my son is only five years old, but honestly, I hope he doesn't hear these kinds of things when he is older but I am sure he will, and I know it is my job as a parent.. to teach him the right way to speak.
Don't get me wrong, I'm far from a Grammar perfectionist, but like I said... This specific word.. really has gotten to me.
This also shows how celebrities can become such a huge influence on many of their fans.

Snow snow go away
Seriously, lol. I live in Upstate Ny and it's been snowing like crazy (nothing new) but it still sucks! I guess we're expecting 6-12 inches, my son had a snow day today and it's 1 degree's Farenheight lol.
I really hope many companies let their employee's go home early today for their safety. (If they have any decency).
